Old Chengdu Restaurante Cinese Sichuan

Did not expect to find such amazing Chinese/Sichuan food in Rome 😍 really really liked the flavourful sour soup with fish (not sure what the actual name is), but this and all the other dishes were delicious and went so well with a bowl of white rice! Also very near Rome's main train station, so definitely drop by for a nice meal before/after arriving in Rome 😘 Note that even calling to reserve beforehand did not immediately grant us a table upon arriving, and it was very crowded during dinner. So do come prepared with time to spare, or be ready to take away if you need to rush off. They provide containers and utensils for take away 👍🏻

At the end of our two-week vacation in Italy, we craved Chinese food, so we picked this restaurant. The food is authentic, and the whole experience was very pleasant. We ordered chicken as an appetizer, and it was very tender. For our main course, we had beef in spicy Sichuan sauce, which we requested to be mild, so it wasn’t too spicy. For veggies, we ordered eggplant with minced meat, which was sweet and sour. The food was delicious! The next day, we came back again and ordered tripe, pork blood jellies with veggies, and sweet potato spaghetti. Both were tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try Chinese food.

Had an amazing dining experience at this Chengdu cuisine restaurant in Rome! Our two little ones absolutely loved the beef noodle soup and Riso Saltato - the seafood fried rice. Both dishes were flavorful and comforting, perfect for kids! My wife and I enjoyed exploring the authentic Chengdu cuisine, especially the Chili Sauce Braised Beef Entrails, which was delicious and well-prepared. Although the crispy pepper chicken was a bit overcooked, the overall quality of the food more than made up for it. What truly sets this place apart is the owner, who is incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. His hospitality made our visit special and memorable. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for fantastic Chinese cuisine in Rome.

As it is the last day of the year, most restaurants are closed, so we came to this restaurant twice today. Recommend dry pot chicken, cold cucumber and boiled beef. Preserved egg tofu is very fragrant but not spicy, stir-fried chicken gizzard is sliced chicken gizzard rather than the whole, and the domestic mao-dish is very different, not delicious. Egg fried rice oil is relatively large, the bottom of the bowl to eat a layer of oil. Hot and sour powder itself has no taste, salt, vinegar and spicy oil need to add their own. At noon, there were not many people, and the food was served quickly, but in the evening, there were many people, and we waited for a long time to serve the food, but when we ordered, the waiter told us in advance to wait patiently, so we showed our understanding. You can ask for anything when you order. The owner's wife is particularly warm, authentic Chengdu people, who are happy to everyone, and will send blessings to everyone. After we paid, we gave us a five-yuan voucher for his store and a delicious orange. In short, it is very good to eat good Sichuan food in Rome, 8/10
